Review: Kith Treat

Wandering along the streets of Bond Street and wondering where to get a satisfying dessert to-go, KITH Treats at Selfridges is definitely on our go-to list! As KITH’s websites states, “A childhood obsession with cereal led Ronnie Fieg to create KITH Treats — an ice cream and cereal bar…”, every ice cream that is served by them has a generous amount of cereal.

A fun fact about the store is that each Treats location features a menu of rotating specials created by friends and family of the brand, including the late Virgil Abloh and Lebron James. If it isn’t enough to keep your mouth-watering and interest piqued, we don’t know what else will.

As a first-timer, we ordered the FlatWhite Ice Cream Swirl by VIRGIL ABLOH.

The Sight

A GENEROUS AMOUNT of vanilla ice cream for sure. That swirl was larger than expected and one can definitely share it if you’re afraid about having too much ice cream. Anyways, little bits of cinnamon toast crunch and toffee crunch are mixed together with the ice cream to create the swirl. And additional cereals are then added onto the sides. All of the cereals appear to be blended to a certain extent, into a semi-powdered form, instead of just having it in its original form.

The Sound

A slight sandy sound can be heard when you munch on the cereal bits.

The Smell

It’s ice cream, so what do you expect?!

The Taste

Even though it’s ice cream, it has a slight stickiness to it. To us, this indicates good-quality ice cream and filling. The cinnamon toast crunch adds the perfect amount of sweetness to every scoop while the toffee crunch adds fragrance to it. Having it at the start of spring, when the weather is still cold doubles in on the brain freeze and mouth freeze. But nonetheless, it was tasty.

The Verdict

From now, KITH Treats will be our go-to ice cream store at Selfridges. You should give it a try too. They do have other options such as a milkshake or a commuter bowl but we recommend getting the swirl for a full experience on your first-try.
